Reply with quote | #1 | I was coming back from Huron the other night and noticed that along with the yellow road center reflectors, there were farther spread out blue ones. I've never seen those anywhere else. Does anyone know the significance of them? The other wild sight was the enormous house going up on Ruth Sheldon's former property. Anybody got the scoop on the owner? Just curious. __________________ Farrah lives! |

Ok,I could be wrong, but I believe the the blue reflectors signal where the Fire Hydrants are on the side of the road. |

Those are reflectors marking where the fire hydrants are for the fire department. |

Thanks for asking the question and thanks for the answer. I have wondered the same thing, just not enough to remember to ask. __________________ "A witty saying proves nothing." Voltaire |

If you're just wondering who it might be, then you can use the Erie County Auditor's website to find out the owner's name and other information about the property itself. |

GeorgiaBuckeye - Is this who you and I were discussing a couple of weeks ago? If so, did you think of the name of the company? |

Reply with quote | #8 | Thanks Georgia, So what does he do? He dropped a few coin on that redo, I'm guessing he has a job to match? Are they summertimers or will they become part of the community? Nice to see someone doing well in these economic times. I saw it from the lake this last weekend and it looks pretty cool. The house just east of there that just got redone is even neater. Almost looks like a stone amphitheater on the lakeside. I think you need to start some renovations to keep up Georgia!

GeorgiaBuckeye...You don't need to keep up with the Jones. You're still in business (probably not easy), draw from other communities, and still have a nice hall. Maybe your personality is part of the reason you are still in business, you seem like a "swell fellow". |
