The Vermilion FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) and VPA (Vermilion Police Association) are holding a steak fry on October 9th at German's Villa. Dinner will be served from 6pm-8pm. There will be a DJ and dancing after dinner along with door prizes, raffles, 50/50's, etc. A food drive is also being held to benefit the Vermilion Food Pantry. Everyone attending the event is being asked to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the food pantry. For every item donated, a raffle ticket will be given for the food drive raffle prize. The Food Pantry is an invaluable service to needy families in the community and any help is greatly needed.
Please support this event if possible. The donation for the event is $20 per person. This includes the steak dinner (steak, potato, salad, roll) and unlimited beverage (soda, beer). The FOP / VPA are active in the community in support of numerous events and programs throughout the year, including; Safety Town, youth sports team sponsorships, Prom Til Dawn, etc.
Tickets can be purchased from any VPD Officer,in Dispatch at the VPD Station, or by calling 204-2440 (VPD) and leaving a message for someone to return your call.
